What are the Benefits of the University of Sydney International Scholarships 2023
The University of Sydney International Scholarships (USydIS) will cover tuition and living expenses for up to three years, with a one-semester extension available for Ph.D. students.

Eligibility Criteria for University of Sydney International Scholarships
- English is a required language.
- All countries in the world are eligible.
- Be a student pursuing a degree in a subject area that the University has selected as one of its current or emerging research strengths.
- You must not have received an Australia Award scholarship within the previous two years before applying for the RTP Fee Scholarship.
- Be a full-time international student enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program at this university.
- Students may be considered for admission until they have completed a maximum of six months of course work.
- Unless you previously got an RTP Fee Scholarship for a Master by Research degree that you have completed and are currently applying for a doctorate research degree, you must not have previously received an RTP Fee Scholarship.
- Not hold a research qualification seen as equivalent to or higher than an Australian Research Doctorate degree, or not hold a research qualification regarded as equivalent to or higher than an Australian Research Master’s degree if pursuing a Research Master’s degree.
- Not have applied for the scholarship more than three times in the last five years.
- Not be receiving a scholarship in which course tuition is a component as part of any other scholarship plan to which the Australian Government contributes significantly.
